The Jericho Centre for the Blind and the Handicapped has been working for the last 32 years, since its inception in 1982 for the comprehensive education and rehabilitation of the marginalized young people with disabilities.

The Centre runs two hostels: one for boys and another for girls, and a Higher Secondary School with 1100 students. The School is primarily meant for differently-abled students, but we also admit other students from the neighbourhood for want of demand and to maintain a healthy environment.

The Jericho campus is at Nagamangalam, 12 KM from the Trichy town, on the highway connecting Trichy and Madurai. It is a green and eco-friendly campus for the benefit of our inmates.

Jesus said, “Allow the children to come to me. Do not forbid them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people like these children”(Mt. 19:14). Following the footsteps of Jesus, we serve our children in all possible ways form them sons and daughters of God and citizens of the country.

The Jericho Centre welcomes you to participate in our educational programmes and self-help initiatives, to work with our students and teachers – find your own unique way to become a part of the growing Jericho family.
